Why USH?

Accredited university: Under Act 443 of July 5, 2002, Spiru Haret University is “a higher education institution of private law and public utility, part of the national education system.”

Spiru Haret University states its academic autonomy and private property as guaranteed by the Romanian Constitution.

A signatory of the Magna Charta Universitatum: Spiru Haret University has Bachelor’s degree and master degree programmes, in accordance with the provisions of the Bologna Charta and with the study programmes of the European space of higher education. Currently Spiru Haret University gathers 25 faculties, 24 Master programmes (Bologna Cycle II).

European and worldwide diploma recognition: Having adopted the European Union system of education, our diplomas are recognized not only in Europe, but also worldwide. Some of our alumni are currently employed with companies and institutions in other European or non-European countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia.

Generous infrastructure, high-tech equipment: Spiru Haret University owns locations that are adequate for best teaching and learning, research, cultural, educational and sport activities in Bucharest, Constanta, Câmpulung – Muscel, Craiova, Brasov, Râmnicu – Vâlcea, Blaj. The university owns 108 lecture halls, 480 seminar rooms, over 130 laboratories, 19 libraries with over 150,000 volumes (mostly textbooks, courses, treatises and specialist books) and 21 reading rooms, over 10,000 cutting-edge computers, a students’ club, dormitories, a sports complex.
